Re: 0-10v spindle control?
I got it working with a PWM to voltage converter, and a cheap 24 volt power adapter to power the converter. For anyone who wants to do the same, here is the converter and power adapter I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DY6PGWQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.a...

Re: 0-10v spindle control?
Exciting!
Got it thanks.
Could you please advise on if there is an easy/cheap way to power it from the controller or if I'm better off getting a separate power supply/adapter?

Improved Inch Mode
It seems that the Buildbotics firmware is built around metric units, and the inch mode just converts things to inches. This provides a lot of functionallity in inches, but also results in the issues below: 1) The controller resolving to 0.001", which is rather limiting. It would be much better if it...

Re: 0-10v spindle control?
Would this work?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JT ... U0Q5Y99ZUG
Is there a good way of powering it through the controller or will I need a separate power supply?

Re: 0-10v spindle control?
Great, thank you.
Nice, is this next batch going to be like a V2 controller? Or just some minor changes?

Re: Machine Profiles Button
Thanks for your reply. Yes, and this works fine on a computer, but on my Amazon fire tablet the backup and restore buttons don't open any file selection window so it doesn't work on the tablet.

Machine Profiles Button
This is pretty minor, but I think it would be nice to have saved machine profiles in the controllers memory that you can switch between quickly with buttons, a drop down, etc in the interface. This would be convenient when for example, I machine some features on my lathe, then move the part over to ...

0-10v spindle control?
It seems like the Buildbotics control doesn't currently have a 0-10v output for spindle control? Is there a work around way to control a spindle system that needs such an input?

Re: Backlash compensation is a must have!
I couldn't agree more! I think adding features like this would really help the BB control be more widely adopted.

Re: feed (speed) over ride
I'll vote for it aswell. I'm sure not having this feature, among others, that Mach3 etc has has lost sales.
Adding a speed, feed, and rapid override feature would be a big deal for me. Either sliders or buttons for different percentage overrides like the Haas control would be great.
