Re: Static IP address for wifi and ethernet
Hi, This can also be done by making the Raspberry pi always use a specific IP-address. There is a lot of guides online for doing exactly this. For instance https://www.makeuseof.com/raspberry-pi-set-static-ip/ I would agree it is more tidy to have the network router assign the same IP-adress every t...

Re: Monitor connection issues
Hi, Doug and thanks for your reply. Late last evening I eventually had some time on my hands to try with different monitors on the buildbotics controller. I tried a total of five different monitors and couldn't get a single one of them working. 3 of them were older displays using the HDMI to DVI ada...

Monitor connection issues
Hi! I'm having quite some trouble getting my monitor to work with the buildbotics controller. I have tried just about every combination of settings in the boot/config.txt file as suggested by several forums. For instance here: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=166650 . You see, my limit switch has the switch on the high side and hence when it is closed the output of the limit switch is tied to +24V, when the switch is open there is a pull down resistor inside the limit-switch that makes the output go low. I h...

Re: Limit switch pull-up?
Yep! The limit-switches are configured as normally-open in the settings.

Limit switch pull-up?
Hi, I'm, having some issues getting my limit switches to work correctly for my custom machine. I have PNP NO inductive proximity switches in both directions (min and max) on all three axes. They are supplied by +24V and share ground with the buildbotics controller which I bought a few weeks back. I ...
