I have mine currently set at 128 micro/steps and are getting very good results engraving Aluminum using a diamond drag bit and a solid 0.65mm carbide cutter, is it any better than 32 micro/steps I couldn't say

It would be nice to have a way to dial in the axis travel distances. I realize that the obvious answer is you can enter in all the required values in setup, but things aren't always perfect.
