Re: End stop kills setup.
Hmmmm...you're absolutely right (per usual). I wonder if I was navigating after an error and the homing was no longer in effect... Thanks!

End stop kills setup.
I noticed e-stop loses coordinates for X/Y/Z. In addition it seems hitting a limit switch will also do this. This is very frustrating. If I accidentally overshoot with a jog command I see no reason to have to start over. While I expect with e-stop you’re dealing with a catastrophic situation (had pl...

Re: How do you enter a pause in a gcode program
Exactly what I was looking for! Shame it can't use the RS485 value to know when the spindle is at speed. Maybe a custom G-code in future??

Re: Unable to set soft limit to a negative number.
So at first I couldn't get this to reproduce since I'd updated it via my laptop. Then today I was troubleshooting (my foolishness :P) a Z height issue. I went to adjust the min for Z again (which worked last night from the controller after I adjusted it via laptop) and the error came back. I snapped...

Re: Unable to set soft limit to a negative number.
Very interesting... I made the change from my laptop instead of the controller itself and ran into no error. I'd made the change here (laptop) so I could screen capture, but it worked fine. I will snap a photo with my phone on the actual controller itself. This solved my issue, but it is a strange b...

Unable to set soft limit to a negative number.
I have my Z max limit switch setup and I want to home that to be the new zero. When I do this I need to set a negative number for lower soft limit, but I always receive an error when trying to do so. I attempted to leave both set to zero but it appears a soft limit entry must exist and will always b...

Re: Check Size Button
Thanks Doug! I agree fully on the simulation part (which is super cool). What I'm suggesting is the x/y moves in real life to the outer boundaries so you can see if there are any clamping issues that will not be cleared appropriately. For example will my dust shoe clear the threaded rod of this part...

Check Size Button
Absolutely love the controller. One thing I’d love to see added is a “check size” button or code. My previous controller had this feature and I found it to be invaluable. It basically initiates a toolpath (x/y only) in a rectangle boxing in the highest coordinates in your program. More than a few ti...
