Re: Monitor connection issues
Do you have another monitor that you can try with the BB Controller? Preferably one that does not reqjuire an adapter. Also, I ran the 'vcgencmd get_config int' command and got the following result. arm_freq=1200 audio_pwm_mode=1 config_hdmi_boost=8 core_freq=400 desired_osc_freq=0x36ee80 disable_co...

Re: Limit switch pull-up?
OK, you said that the output voltage from your limit switch is around 0.8V when "not activated". When they are not activated (normally open), they should be in the high state, which could be up to 24Volts. This could happen if the limit switch is pulling the output down. The limit switch inputs are ...

Re: V1.0.0 BROKEN
Here are a few questions:
- Do you have a VFD?
- If so, what type?
- What type is assigned on Settings->Tool page?
- Are errors counting up in tool page?

Video on calibrating Axes
I published a new video that describes how to calibrate the axes on your CNC machine. If your parts are coming out the wrong size or shape (or if you just want to see my smiling face), you should check it out.
You can find it on youtube at https://youtu.be/5EHqnXkB1e4 .

Re: Proper shutdown procedure
Just turn off the enable switch. To my knowledge, this hasn't caused any corruption of the internal microSD cards. You may be having trouble with microSD cards or thumb drives that you then move to a Windows PC because the Raspberry PI ignores the 'dirty' bit on the card. If the Windows machine sees...

Re: laser and router connections and codes
Yes, you have to go to the 'Settings->Tool' page on the user interface and select the type of spindle you are using. The choice can be some type of VFD or a PWM spindle. The PWM option is used to control the laser. You cannot have both active at the same time.

Re: laser and router connections and codes
The Buildbotics Controller cannot do this. While you can have the VFD/Spindle connected through the RS485 interface and the laser connected through the PWM interfaces simultaneously, you can only have one configured (and usable) at a time. Whichever one is configured will respond to the M3 (run forw...

Re: SIPUN SPVF-2.2G-S2 Variable Frequency Drive
After further review, I think we do stand a good chance of getting this going. I think the multi-word read issue is a non-issue.
