Re: Need help setting my soft-limits
Soft limits are the absolute limits found during homing. Let's say that the center of your work piece is exactly in the center of your machine and that is where you zero your offsets. This would be x=125 and y = 75. During a cut, your x axis should be able to move anywhere from -125 to +125 and y sh...

Re: Slaved Motor Switching Directions
I recommend disconnecting the motors from the couplers. Then, look to determine whether the motors turn in the correct direction with no load.

Re: 6' x 20' Vicon CNC Retrofit
3.47 volts is the maximum DC voltage that can be applied without exceeding the motor’s ability to dissipate the heat that would be generated through i2r losses in the motor coils. This voltage is not related to the voltage sent to the motors from the BB controller. The BB controller actually sends v...

Re: Stepper Motor with Brake
You could connect one of the 5V outputs to a solid state relay like this one on Amazon. Then wire the output in series between your brake motor brake and a 24VDC power supply.
The 5V output pins on the DB25 connector can be controlled with various GCode commands.
