Re: Unable to upload gcode
I sent a link to the 0.4.12 file to your e-mail address along with instructions on how to load it. Please let me know whether this has any affect. BTW, Joe and I tried to find a way to allow the file system to be unmounted before pulling out the thumb drive, but ran into some roadblocks that prevent...

Re: AMB PWM Spindle
Would you be willing to share the design if you choose to design it?

I can help you go back to 0.4.12 to see if that helps. Do you want to do that?

Re: AMB PWM Spindle
You should try a module like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-3V-PWM-100HZ-3KHZ-Signal-to-0-10V-Voltage-Converter-D-A-Digital-Analog-Module/163596299408?hash=item2617196c90:g:rR4AAOSwJ8hcig-o You will most likely find that it allows nearly the full speed range, but is not particularly accurate. If y...

Re: AMB PWM Spindle
The referenced link says that the speed control is achieved through a 0-10Volt analog input. Are you connecting this directly to the 0-3.3 Volt PWM output on the Buildbotics Controller, or do you have an adapter that converts the 3.3VPWM to a 0-10V analog output?

Re: AMB PWM Spindle
Can you post pictures of your spindle and spindle controller, and a screenshot of your spindle configuration on the BB Controller? This would help me get started making some coherent suggestions.

Re: Trying to find good stepper motors
Missed steps can be caused by lots of things. Can you describe your system? What kind of controller do you have? What is the model number of your motors? How fast are you driving them? Are you sure that your mechanics are not binding?

Re: Unable to upload gcode
Hmmm, Here's a few questions: - Are you able to see the files on your thumb drive before you attempt to load the file? - Are you able to load files that are already in the pull-down menu? - How many files do you have in the pull-down menu? - How big is the file that you are trying to load? - Does it...

The joy stick will not travel past the soft limits if the machine has been homed.
