Re: Issues using G53 or G92.2 in Tool Change Script
Hi Alex, I've also experienced similar issues, and I have been using what seems to be a similar tool probe setup. It seems like a lot of what are standard features on other software are not yet fully implimented in the Buildbotics controller. However, G92 works as expected. Here are my tool change s...

Re: Second opinion on hard limit setup
All those ways would probably work just fine. However I would use the controller inputs to make things easier. If it were me I would use the max/min travel inputs so you the software will tell you what axis had an error. Also, I haven't tested it but if a max/min travel input occurs you may only hav...

Re: Facets on arcs
I've tried setting the max-deviation to 0.0000000001", but I still get very visible facets on arcs (segments around 0.04" long)
What can I do to improve this?

Backlash Compensation
It would be great to be able to compensate for backlash, expecially with hobby level machines most of us are using. Linux CNC's backlash compensation works pretty well.

Facets on arcs
I'm experiencing many small facets on 2d arc moves, instead of smooth curves. I've tried max deviation values from 0.01" to 0.0001" and get facets with all of the values I've tried. How can I minimize or eliminate this issue?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Perfect, thanks for that write up! That would be a great thing to add to the manual if it isn't in there already.

Re: Rotate axis in the controller
If I understand your goal correctly, couldn't you simply model your part at a 45 degree angle, if Vetric Aspire doesn't have a way of rotating it after the model is in the CAM software.
You can also consider trying a different CAD/CAM software. I've really enjoyed using Fusion360.

Re: 0.4.15 Released
The stall homing seems like an expecially cool feature. Could you provide some documentation on what the stall homing related settings do in practice and the general procedure for finding optimal values for those settings?
