bor 454 DIY

Post by bor MC » Tue May 04, 2021 3:54 pm

I've been working for months to finish a DIY plan set for my new build and wanted to share.

This mechanical frame is designed using mostly OpenBuilds components/hardware with other easy to source parts. It can be powered by pretty much any controller but was built specifically around the BuildBotics system.

Unlike all other kits in the price range this router is driven by a rack and pinion setup on the X/Y axis making it a truly modular system that can grow with you.

I hope the images post correctly but if not please view them on my Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/borbuiltnc/ or the build post on OpenBuilds https://openbuilds.com/builds/bor-454-d.9915/

I am currently making plate kits and custom gear racks for folks to build their own. Thanks for checking it out.
