Legacy CNC Router with Accelus controllers and servo motors

Post by jasonGO » Mon Mar 02, 2020 7:04 am

Good day! I have a classic machine that is working fine as is.... with a machine running Windows 98, Accelus controllers and servers on the x&y with a stepper on the Z. Would this be a good candidate for a buildbotics controller? I do not not a lot of faith in the old Win 98 machine and would be nice just to do without any dedicated machine at all.
Questions and comments are all welcome.
Thanks!

The Buildbotics Controller cannot interface with servo motors. Unless you are interested in swapping out your servos for bipolar steppers, the BBC Controller will not work for you.
