! Under Override?

Hi Doug,
How do I override the "! under" warning that is preventing me from running my file?

I need to be able to go under to cut all the way through into a spoil board. In another case, I have a tool that needs to use its own weight to make a mark, so it needs to go below Z0.

I don't understand why this "safety" measure installed. It is common to go under Z0 when doing contour cuts through plywood or other materials.

Thanks,
Jason

If you get the "Under" message on an axis, it means that the GCode program that is currently loaded would cause the spindle to travel below the lower soft limit for that axis. To resolve this, go to the 'Motor' configuration page for that axis and adjust the lower soft limit. For the 'Z' axis, you can make the lower soft limit as low as you want. For instance, -100 should work pretty well.

Make sure to refresh the browser after making this configuration change.

Please let me know whether this helps.
