I sent a link to the 0.4.12 file to your e-mail address along with instructions on how to load it. Please let me know whether this has any affect.

BTW, Joe and I tried to find a way to allow the file system to be unmounted before pulling out the thumb drive, but ran into some roadblocks that prevented implementation. Under normal circumstances, we think that it just sets a "dirty" bit on the thumb drive that only causes a warning when you go to load the drive on another computer. We did not experience any corruption of the thumb drive.

He Mick,

I had Joe take a look at this and he found that the Controller cannot correctly handle files with a # or a ? in the file name. He has proposed to replace these characters with a - in the next release.

He also found that if a file is removed outside the standard user interface, it will cause the error to appear like the first one you reported and you would not be able to delete the file from the user interface.

The proposed fix should prevent getting files with unworkable filenames into the BB controller in the first place.
