Hi everyone,

I'm curious how long I should expect the firmware update to v1.0.0 should take. My controller has been displaying the "Upgrading firmware" message on the LCD display and the "Firmware upgrading Please wait..." message on the web interface for about half an hour now. Is there an issue with my machine or is this a standard upgrade time?

It should complete in less than 5 minutes. Just reboot your controller and try it again.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I tried your suggestion several times, each time giving the controller well over 5 minutes to upgrade, and each time it froze and did not complete the upgrade. I tried resetting the configuration on my controller before upgrading as well and unfortunately that did not work either. Do you have any other suggestions that may resolve the issue?

It is likely that the network connection is not strong enough to move the large file without errors. Is it possible to connect the controller to a hardwired ethernet connection. If not, is it possible to move closer to your wifi source?

Thanks for the response Doug. Unfortunately my controller is already connected via a hardwired ethernet connection. Do you have any other suggestions?

Download this to your computer and then click "Upload" from the General Page. 'Upload' (rather than 'Upgrade') allows you to select a file from your local computer (including from a thumb drive).

Do not decompress or extract the file, the 'Upload' program does that for you.

It seems that uploading the upgrade file solved the issue. Thanks so much for your help Doug!
