Check the I/O Settings page to ensure that it is assigned to pin 23.

I checked the manual, in fact all manuals say that Pin 23 is Estop. I verified that the pin that I am using for ground is in fact case ground Pin 19. when I ground it out I get nothing, do you have any solutions that might fix it? I am using Software update 1.0.3 with a box that is about 2 years old

If I am unable to make the software e stop work I will wire it in as a powered hard emergency stop.

Here is a link to the latest manual that describes the programmable I/O on the Buildbotics Controller.

You must be using the latest software (v1.0.2 or v1.0.3). Otherwise the estop is fixed on pin 23.
