Here is the one that I have, but the price seems to have gone up since I bought it.

Here is another one that looks to be about the same for a better price.

Hi Doug,

i found an interested ressource for touch probes and tool setter - https://vers.by/en/ - and ordered one touch probe (i have a corner touch probe yet but this are 3D probes).

Now i am waiting for the BB Version with the possibility for macros/buttons and everything is fine :-)

Best regards
Martin

I hope you will report back on the results with this probe. A short video would be excellent.

Hi Doug, How do you use the probe you have on the BB? Is there a macro?

I recommend looking at this thread to get an idea of how to set up probing: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=117

The BB controller can be set up to execute a series of commands each time a tool change is encountered. Alternatively, you can run a program that just does probing and sets up offsets. Or, you can do both.

A separate program is usually preferred if you want to do 3D probing. I have attached a gcode program that uses a 3D probe to find the surface and front right corner of your work piece.

You can assign the separate program to a macro if desired. That way, you can run probing with a single button click.
